Vegas.

Vegas. Just the word makes me smile. Among the most epic trips was the one in 2005. Greg and I were celebrating our 10th anniversary. We hadn’t really planned ahead at all except, I made this Elvis suit. It was a dare (of course) from Pat. He didn’t believe Greg would wear it. That’s all it took, naturally, for it to become the cornerstone of the trip – except – we had no other plan. We were into the second night, I think, and nothing was going well. I couldn’t even find a limo available, until….the “party bus” driver suddenly was willing to drive us all (paid under the table) and it just fell together. Utter perfection. Pat loved writing trip reports for our vegas trips and this one will always be my favorite. I read it even after all these years, if for no other reason than, I need to laugh. I would give anything to transport back in time to that night on that party bus…for even just a few minutes.

I love how Jose didn’t even bother to get this picture into focus. If you grew up in Redmond in the 70’s you know who Jose was.

Our kitties

Pat didn’t like mom’s names for these cats (Muffy, Tuffy, Fluffy and Scruffy). He dubbed them Margaret, Grover, Fluffy (it made sense) and Ernie
